The XBRAID series now includes a highly anticipated solid-color line! It is exceptionally effective against "line-cutting" fish—such as Spanish mackerel (*sagochi*), pufferfish, and cutlassfish—that can otherwise cause line breakage during your fishing trips. It is also ideal for cutlassfish *tenya* fishing! By eliminating color-change markers, the risk of breakage is reduced, allowing for a smoother, more comfortable approach to your target species. It delivers outstanding performance made possible by a combination of high-density braiding, the WX8 method, GP processing, and HST processing. Generally, PE lines braided with a fine, high-density pitch offer improved abrasion resistance but reduced straight-line strength; conversely, a coarse, low-density pitch results in straighter fibers, increasing straight-line strength but compromising abrasion resistance. X-BRAID UPGRADE achieves both of these conflicting qualities at a world-class level, standing as a high-quality, high-power PE line across all categories that complies with the "PE Line Thickness Standards" established by the Fishing Line Division of the Japan Fishing Tackle Manufacturers Association.
